Private Sessions

Private or semi-private yoga instruction available by booking through becki.

You may be interested in private instruction If you are new to yoga and interested in learning how to get your particular body in proper alignment in the basic poses.

Private sessions can be terrific when recovering from injury, working on specific areas of concern or vulnerability, to learn a specific set of postures or sequence designed to meet your bodies needs that you can then take and practice on your own.

Group yoga instruction is available for small groups who would like to collectively move and breath together. Add a class to your wedding weekend, family get-together, cause for celebration, or a just a night out. Also a great way to add wellness into the workplace - I can come to you or your can come to the studio.

Pioneer Yoga grew from the deep roots Wind River Yoga planted in Dubois.

becki attended her first yoga class, taught by Tracey Burke, in the summer of 2007. Hooked before the third bell chimed to end that first class, she became a yoga student. Traveling across the US for years on work trips, becki sought out yoga classes in every city she went: vinyasa, power, yin, kundalini, restorative, Iyengar, anusara, ashtanga… you name it, she gave it a go. All yoga was good yoga it seemed. Different voices, different focuses, different smells, different bells…but the same message over and over.

Kristin Bosteels began her esteemed yoga teacher career at Wind River Yoga. Tracey handed over the studio to Kristin who continued to serve the Dubois with a consistent place to practice as a community. When Kristin left town a few years later, she gifted the mats, blankets, and props that were left from the studio to becki.

In the fall of 2014, becki attended her first yoga teacher training at the Teton Yoga Shala in Jackson Hole. She has been teaching classes in Dubois ever since. She’s taught from upstairs at Lynn’s gym, Duffy’s Fitness Center, the upstairs of the CWC office, and one six-week session from the back room of the Bistro cause the class time conflicted with Melinda Bobo’s uber popular Bellydance Class.

Her practice is intentional and deliberate. She focuses on healthy alignment and safe range of motion for all bodies. The practice of yoga has enhanced every facet of becki’s life. She endeavors to shine some light on the teachings in hopes of benefiting others.

In addition to her 200 hour teacher training, becki continues to travel to practice with her teachers and to seek out new ones.

She also has a BS in Exercise Physiology, an MAT in Physical Education, and is certified as a Personal Trainer, and as Health Coach.

Pioneer Yoga will be offering other fitness class options in addition to yoga.

We are actively seeking certified teachers and instructors of all wellness modalities.

"After many years of back pain and poor flexibility, I found relief at Pioneer Yoga. Becki has created a studio with a welcoming atmosphere and fills it with kindness and a sense of calm. Yoga has allowed me to continue enjoying an active lifestyle. As an added bonus, Becki is patient, friendly and often quite funny yoga instructor."

"I had always been intrigued by the idea of yoga, but I was paralyzed by the fear of being way too out of shape to even attempt it. The thought of contorting my body into various poses, especially in a room full of experienced yogis, felt like an impossible feat. However, something inside me urged me to take the plunge and give it a try. Becki's room was full of healing energy and smiles. My 50 yr old body feels 30 again. I'm sleeping without pain and waking up with hips ready to hunt! "

-Jeff B.

"Becki Neidens is hands-down the best yoga instructor I have ever had. She is attentive to each class member's needs and personal abilities, while moving forward through poses. Her classes are both challenging and fun. This is a five star review. If you are on the fence about whether or not yoga is for you, give Pioneer Yoga a try!"
